Brown and Black Rats
Rats are a common pest found throughout the UK, and if you find a rat in your property it can be very upsetting. As well as carrying disease, rats gnaw through things and can cause damage to your home. Rats are survivors and make the most of any opportunity. They are good swimmers and will enlarge any small holes they find until they can fit through. Black rats are expert climbers. Brown rats will more often build burrows, typically choosing an area where there is a solid foundation, such as a garage or house wall.
Wood/Field Mouse
As well as being harmful to your health, mice can cause damage to your home. Mice infestations can occur suddenly, and what’s more mice spread disease through their urine and faeces. They also carry other pests, such as fleas, which can soon infest your home. If you have a mouse problem, deal with the issue sooner rather than later.
